Congrats to SteveandTiff!

I hope all of us will have a hassle- free processing like they did! Am just getting worried this time since I still Did not receive any letter/update with my AOS. No EAD and AP yet in the mail We had our biometrics here in Houston first week of March...

Just looking forward to a good news next week.

Congratulations on everyone receiving their AP or EAD! Gosh we all are having very smooth process aint we? I'm so happy to see everyone posting good news for their case. For me I'm still the same, there is no update on EAD or AP so I guess all I can do is just wait for the interview and hopefully can pass it so I can see my grandma soon.

kcoyclay1 & Levi_Heather, thank you so much for putting us in your prayer. I feel abit better after my parents told me my grandma illness seems stable today.

I wish everyone best of luck for their AOS journey.

Hi, folks, I just got my AP in mail today. A couple questions. Does everybody get two copies of the AP? There is the name Robert M. Coman appearing on top of my photo of the document. Is this normal?

We received my wife's AP on Friday, so now we have both of them! We also received two copies of the same letter for each of them, so that must be normal. :star: I am not sure what we are to do with both pages since they read that it is good for multiple re-entries before the expiration date in 2010. :wacko:

Received my son's EAD in the mail today, finally got all three. :dance::dance::dance: ... We're off to SSA office on Wednesday.

Jul 17- 1st day - medical exam SLEC (on hold and waiting for it to be done successfully) July 31- PASSED!

I wouldn’t worry about it to much, i have yet to receive mine either and i submitted my case on 01/07/09 and had bio on 01/29/09, I would call after 75days and see why your case is not available online. But Actually had a questions for all of my fellow January Submitters…. about AOS and USCIS, do they look at cases in order received or does it vary by geographic regions?

I guess it's a mystery that will never be solved :lol: On USCIS site they say that they process the cases in order they receive them but I believe it is only partially true. For example, a lot of January filers have their interview dates (and one of us is already done with the interview :thumbs: ), while there are December, and even November filers who are still waiting. To big extent it's the matter of luck, and it also depends on how busy your field office is. Hopefully, you will get the good news pretty soon (F) .

5 January - document received by USCIS

8 January - 3 NOAs issued (485, 765, 131)

12 January - NOA hard copies received by mail

13 January - AOS, EAD touched

19 January AP touched

10 February - placed a service request regarding biometrics appointment

23 February - biometrics appointment issued

11 March - AP approved and approval notice sent

14 March - biometrics at San Marcos ASC

16 March - EAD card production ordered

16 March - AP received in the mail

26 March - EAD received in the mail

9 April - Invitation for the interview received in the mail (issued 6 April)

13 May - AOS INTERVIEW!!! APPROOVED!!!!

15 May - Card production ordered!

USCIS are supposed to process cases as they recieve them but there are factors that could make one case go faster than the other eg. complexity of the case, adjudicator assigned to the case, and as JulianDavid mentioned, the field office your case will be assigned on (for interview mostly). I believe the adjudicator assigned to handle a case would be an extremely big factor, some are so meticulous, they simple need to see everything in the order that they want it (these are the people who sends out RFEs mostly for stuff already submitted) while others let some minor details pass (eg. accepting the vaccination sheet from K1 medical in lieu of I-693) and just make decisions base on more important facts presented so they work faster than others.

I simply hope and pray that everybody will receive good news this week... especially those who filed way before us.

Hi, guys. I received the physical EAD in mail today. 5 days after I received the card production ordered email from CRIS, faster than I thought. card valid from 3/19/09 to 3/20/10
