Still no news for me. Our cases online have never been updated since they got accepted. It never stated the RFE's etc... So I guess if we receive something in the mail, I will be so excited that I will cry!! I just hope nothing is going wrong coz there would be no way to know about it.

GloAndCole: I'm keeping you and your grandma in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you will receive your AP soon... but I also hope you will consider going for the interview since April 14 is already near and then fly to hongkong right after so at least you could focus on your grandma and you will have your green card waiting for you when you get back which would allow you to travel to and fro without problem later on... but then again, you will know what will be the best. Stay strong. (F)

So I called the National Center yesterday and talked to a very nice operator then a horrible immigration officer. Both told me about 2-4% of cases never make it online. He also told me that the 90 day rule goes out the door on your EAD if you get any kind of request on your 485. He said to count the days from the date the request was mailed till they received the evidence, then to add another 5 days and add that to the 90 days. Part of me believes him and yet part of me doubts it cause I have seen some of your time lines where you have both (requests and approvals) in less than 90 days. Maybe I'm just destined to have the hard abnormal case because my I-130 and K-3 approval were so smooth.

And I am still waiting for my EAD in the maikl even though the card was irdered on 16 March :(Levi_Heather, did you have another update on the site saying that EAD approval notice sent prior to getting it in the mail?

I'm not sure where you live but I'm sure you'll be getting yours soon. Levi's originally said the 17th then it showed the 19th then it was updated again the 25th which of course is the day he got it in the mail lol. We live in Missouri so if they are mailing them from Missouri we'd get it a bit faster.

Levi_Heather, thank you! We live in California (San Diego area) which is quite a distance from Missouri :-) The only thing that bothers me is that we didn't have any updates from 16 March (when card was ordered) but again, I guess, the online status is not the thing you can rely on :unsure:
