January 2009 AOS Submitters

Question: I thought our EAD's and AOS were approved by our local office where we did our biometrics appointment, unless it was transferred to CSC. However, when I just checked the processing times at my local office to see if they have changed (which they haven't since December 31, 2008) it only lists I-485, I-600, I-600A, N-400 and N-600. So if they aren't responsible for our EAD's, then who is?

Hey guys sorry been busy with work so havnt had a chance to post in a while. I am pretty sure the NBC(National Service Center) or as its called the Missouri Service Center handles the AP and EAD.

Congrats on all the interview dates. Levi finally got his bio appointment letter. March 17th at 1pm :) Hopefully we all finish up quickly. Is anyone else getting bored? Levi hasn't worked in almost 6 months and he's sooooooo ready!

CONGRATS on the biometrics letter... every single progress in this long journey is indeed a blessing. :dance::dance::dance:

I am taking classes so that has kept me from getting bored since January (I was in a sorry depressed state few months back due to homesickness and boredom-taking classes has helped me tremendously)... but I am also very ready to get a job, earn my own money and be able to move around without having to ask my husband or my mother-in-law to drive for me.

Thanks! I got a notice to ask me to get the court record if i ever been arrested or detained by any law enforcement officer. But I dun have any and it has already stated while I applied K1 visa so I dun think I need it.

just found this thread, add me to the list filed 1/20......also I am noticing that the cases that get transferred to CSC are usually transferred within a month, so is it safe to assume that if you don't see a transfer letter within 6 weeks you wont be transferred? or am I just foolishly trying to imply that USCIS has a pattern.....anyway, just an observation

Update on our case, I received a letter from USCIS regarding the RFE service request I filed a few weeks back and I can finally breath because the letter has verified what the supervisor told me: the RFE was cancelled/satisfied and that they had resumed processing on my daughter's case awaiting biometrics submittal. :dance::dance::dance:

The online status still says there is an RFE and our other cases can't be traced still but I don't care as long as everything goes smoothly from henceforth. :yes:

just found this thread, add me to the list filed 1/20......also I am noticing that the cases that get transferred to CSC are usually transferred within a month, so is it safe to assume that if you don't see a transfer letter within 6 weeks you wont be transferred? or am I just foolishly trying to imply that USCIS has a pattern.....anyway, just an observation

Already added. :thumbs: I can't answer the question on CSC transfer because with USCIS there is just no telling. Good luck on your application.

Just wanted to let u guys know that we just received my appointment letter today and its gonna be on Apr 14th. Thought I dun need to go thr the interview part anymore oh well ... hopefully we will get a nice officer. Good luck for everyone and hopefully hear some more good news! :thumbs:

Sept 26 - PAL departure - MNL-LAX

NOV 23 - Church wedding

hey! does anybody here went to uscis.gov website today and a small window popped up asking for a username and password?? its the 1st time ive experienced it. i hit cancel and it says i cant enter the website due to an access control list configured for the resource on the web server
