Thanks God, I finally got my bio invitation for 14 March! I guess this is the result of the service request that I placed with USCIS two and a half weeks ago. Now my information can be finally be updated on our waiting list!

My wife just called me, in the post today, she received a biometrics letter - only problem was that we only recived one. The letter was for her 6 year old daughter. There was no Biomterics notice for my wife. So, hopefully hers will arrive tomorrow. The appointment for the daughter was set for March 10.

Congrats on the biometrics appointment. If your wife's letter has not arrived yet, try calling the service center first thing Monday and try to be transferred to the supervisor so they can give you advise on what to do just in case your wife's letter won't arrive on time for March 10 (I would believe principal applicant: your wife, and the derivative applicant: the daughter would have same biometric sched). As JulianDavid mentioned before, the supervisor is the real immigration officer and can assist you better compared to the first person we usually talk to who would just be a call center agent and won't be of much help. I did not see any LUD on USCIS website after biometrics were done. Not sure if it case gets updated with new LUD after fingerprints are taken.

Rachel and shes': Good luck on your biometrics today. Pls let us know how it goes. It's interesting to know that some USCIS centers are open on Saturday. I wish we also had a Saturday sched so my kids wont have to be absent from school again but I am still very happy and thankful that we got the biometrics schedule as it is.

Hey Thats so awesome congratulations!! oh could you please let me know what the notice date on the interview letter is and also if it was mailed from Missouri or ur local office.

I am not an expert but I would assume that will raise a red flag if you go for interview without your husband. Reading some interview experiences here, the husband/wife (whoever the USC is) would also be part of the interview and some questions would be directed to them.

Do you think your husband will have a problem going with you on your interview?

Yes...I dont think my husband will be home till July or August. He is on deployment right now. I didnt thik this was going to go this fast... I mean I dont know when my interview will be but yu know..

If he is still deployed at that time, the you have a very valid reason. Just provide all documents proving that he is indeed deployed.

Marikiya dhr - I have read a number of posts on various forums about the question you asked and most of them recommend not to do go into an interview without the spouse (that is for a family based case). That is not to say that people with such situation are guaranteed to have a negative outcome in their interviews. It simply means that it is a bit more risky to go in without one's spouse.
