January 2009 AOS Submitters

My reason for asking is a long story, but would someone be kind enough to post the return address that appears on the envelope containing the first NOA--i.e., the receipt notice after the Chicago lockbox processes your I-485 application?

Also, when you file the I-765 and I-131 together with the I-485, do you receive three separate envelopes?

LEE'S SUMMIT, MO 64002.. this is the returning address that appears on my envelop.. it comes only on one envelop, contains of it is my NOA for my working permit, travel permit and I-797(AOS) and my boimetrics

Thanks!! For people who received only the NOA1 in the envelope, not the biometrics appointment notice as well, was the return address the same as above?

The same as stated above but we received our NOAs in separate envelops: one for AOS & one for EAD (did not apply for AP)... we received 6 separate envelops (2 for me and 2 for each of my 2 kids) all in all, just NOA though, no biometrics included and we are still waiting for that up to now. Made 2 infopass appointments already, called the service center several times and will make the advised congressional inquiry after a few weeks. It is frustrating to wait but I am placing it in God's hands.

I received 4 letters..3 noa's for my ead,ap & aos..and the other one is my biometric appointment andwith different case number.

Finally, after a month of stressing out, we received our Biometrics appointment letter. It will be march 16, so much later than most of you but I am so happy at least they have not forgotten about us. I am indeed praising God for this.

I hope the remaining january filers who have not received biometrics appt letters will soon receive theirs soon. God bless everyone.

I just noticed some missing dates. Edited to re-include the missing dates from some of the members timelines: eg. levi heather transfer to CSC date, janessnroland biometric apt date, etc., which has been omitted in the recent list updates.

Everybody is free to edit our list but PLS edit from the most currently updated one, pls do not go back several pages or several post and edit from there. Edit the MOST CURRENT update so there won't be mis-out dates/updates again. Thank you very much.

But you have finished with biometrics already... I guess you are still good and on target. NOA1 is less important than NOA2 anyway. Hopefully, they won't miss sending you all NOA2 when the time comes.

JulianDavid, johnichka, Levi Heather, and others who are still waiting for biometrics, I am crossing my fingers that you would all get the biometrics appointment letters soonest.

I've read some posts here that when the case is transferred to CSC there will no longer be interview BUT it's not true to all, just most of the cases. In the notice itself, it says that we'll go on a premium processing which is cool. From what I've read before in USCIS website, premium processing means it will be faster (it's not a guarantee though). I'm still praying that the process will be quick. Any notice even RFE is a good news because it means they are working on our papers. If we can't hear anything from them that is when we get anxious.
