Update again! Yay!! We just received the NOA1 for AP, EAD & AOS. I just tried to search my case number on USCIS and it seems they have my case on the sytem now!!

Dbears, thanks for adding us to the list. We were thinking of calling USCIS but then decided that it would be too early cause it's not even a month since NOA... Well, I guess it all depends on how busy the local office is and on some luck, too (our cases might be at some lazy officer ). Let's give them some more time and just pray that we get our invitations in the mail soon.

I tried calling this number: 1-800-375-5283 but all I did was talk to an answering machine which says my case is not found in the system. I wonder if there is another number that we can call to inquire . I just want to know if they sent anything and it was not lost in the mail, one of the reason why I am becoming impatient is that, I don't know if it was sent and got lost in the mail and I would miss my biometrics schedule

I received my NOA1 yesterday on the 3rd of february and the NOA date on the paper says january 29th. if you want to add that to the list.

Surely you can edit the list just hit reply and edit my posting... btw, I added your NOA1, I used the issue date instead of the date you received it.. but if you would rather list the receipt date as the NOA1, feel free to edit our list.

I have exactly the same thoughts: what if I missed this letter somehow or it got lost in the mail? I asked a few people about calling USCIS and how to get to the real person since this answering mashine doesn't offer the option to talk to the operator. I was adviced to press 3 - this is for change of address or 2 and then choose the option that you lost your NOA. In this case they let you talk to the real person and that's all we need :-) But to tell you the truth, I don't thinsk they will be much of a help. I know a couple of people with the same situation, they called and were told to wait till after 90 days This is bul...it cause within 90 days we are supposed to have our EAD already (that can't be issued without biometrics). I am going to give them a couple of more weeks and if there is still nothing, to make infopass appointment in local office. Some people say that it's much more effective than 800 number (but it doesn't hurt to try that either).

I did just check our case status online and was thrilled to see that the notice on the USCIS website said our case as of yesterday February 2nd was transferred to the California Service Center and a notice was sent to us in the mail with further instructions. So, I am hoping that the notice informing us that the case was transferred to the CSC will also indicate the timing and location of the Biometrics.

We are however, happy to hear that the case went to the CSC which means no interview.......

I will answer for Dbears (I hope she doesn't mind ) The hard copy of NOA is the paper that we get in the mail. So I guess ypu have it too

I filed i130/485/131/765 on Jan 20 2009, got the receipts on Jan 31st, saying they received them on Jan 28th.

I have question. How do I put my timeline at the bottom of my post? Do i need to manually edit my signature or it can ported from my timeline.
