Yes. You will get an NOA for AP, too.

We sent in our packet (AOS, EAD and AP) on Jan. 13 and got NOAs for all three on Jan. 26.

Thank you BTalley.. Has your case shown up on the USCIS online case search yet? I just searched mine but it said that they can't be found.

Thank you BTalley.. Has your case shown up on the USCIS online case search yet? I just searched mine but it said that they can't be found.

We filed the same day, our NOA1 was issued the 20th, we received the hard copy 25th but still now, no biometrics letter yet... and USCIS online case status says our case can't be found also, same problem you are encountering. Maybe it will appear online after we finish with biometrics.

Thanks dbears for the warm welcome!

I think I was quite confused after receiving this I-797C today.. after reading what u wrote.. I think the one we got today is actually the appointment letter for the biometrics as we have a date and location on it.. probably i will have another mail from UCSIC coming.

Our case number still does not exist online, but that seems to be normal. People on here say it can take weeks, and some even get their interview date in the mail before seeing their case number appear online.

yours might be notice of acceptance and biometrics notice rolled into one, which I believe is good coz at least that will be one less thing to worry about.. my I-797C only stated they have received our case and stated that the next thing to do is go for biometrics and that the USCIS will schedule it and that we will be receiving letter from them soon telling us where to go and what time to go and other plethora of instructions. It would have been great if we received same notice like you did. I don't know if you will still need to schedule infopass before going to your local office, just try calling your local office about it just to make sure. The infopass site do have this as one of the option to choose from: "Case Processing Appointment - If you received a notice to go to your local office for further case processing. "

I do hope we will also receive biometrics letter soon so we could schedule all our other activities beforehand.

You can always go to your back and have them pull out the encashed check in their computer, your case number should be at the back of your check and your bank should be able to show you an electronic image of it. Once you get the case number you can sign up on USCIS site and check your status.

what does the case number look like on the back of the check? I can see several numbers on the back of my check. should I try them all? lol

and where on USCIS website can we check the status of our case?

okay I found it but I can't read it properly and I've tried several times and the website says

Your case can not be found at this time in Case Status Online. Please check your receipt number and try again.

so its probably the wrong one. if only it would be written better.
