We just returned from a week at Disney World. While we were gone AP, EAD, and the interview date arrived.

Did you file 2008 taxes for interview tomorrow? My husband will file for extension coz I still dont have my SSN. Hope 2008 W2 will be suffice in lieu with 2008 income tax. I will let you know the outcome of the interview tomorow. Pls pray for us! Thanks.

John_dot, woow I didn't notice we have the same interview day!! I hope you will have the smooth one!!! Yes we will bring our 08 tax return with us tmw since we weren't able to submit along with our AOS packet. I'm sure all they want know is if your hubby's income is above proverty line, you may also bring your tax extension letter and show them to prove just in case. Please let know us how it goes and I will pray for you guys too.

This is a great site, I tried practicing on one test already and I have saved the link. If all goes well with SSN and our local DMV well not have problem accepting EAD as proof of legal status then I am planning to take the driver's test next month. The site you shared would surely be very helpful. Thank you very much for sharing.

BIG CONGRATS on the welcome notice. You surely give hope to the CSC transferees. I hope more CSC transferees will receive their welcome notice in the mail soon.

Called this morning and filed a service request for my EAD, the woman asked a few questions and said if we hadn't heard from them in 45 days to call again. Not half hour later I was checking the status of my green card online (daily habit) and I decided to try my case number for my EAD again (once again habit) and to my surprise not only did it show up for the first time ever in their system but it also listed my status as production ordered. I'm not sure if it was a weird coincident or my call this morning but I'm happy either way. Hopefully it won't take the full 30 days to get here, I'm dying to get my SSN and file out taxes.

That's fantastic news hilkka . I am happy for you, at least you don't have to wait for the 45 days again, your physical EAD might show in your mail box a week or 2 from now.
