Okay. So I've got a nice four-pound bone-in pork roast to fix for today.

Any ideas on the best way to prepare it without loads of effort or going back to the store for something I wouldn't have on hand in the pantry?

i'll be right over

I'm trying hard not to make a connection between your facial expression, and sexually deviant thoughts you might be having towards that pig, TCO.

I did a pork tenderloin the other night and just rubbed some mustard on it and sprinkles on some Italian seasonings in the roasting pan with a bit of citrus & cilantro flavour grape seed oil in the bottom. It was yummy :)

Ha, how can you roast pork in a Crockpot or a pressure cooker, maybe even in a microwave, roast means putting it in the oven, in a roasting pan, like to cover the bottom of it with aluminum foil, add some water, and cover it with another piece of foil to keep the moisture in. At 350* F oven temperature, let it roast until the insides reach 160*F, very scientific with a meat thermometer, remove the top cover and bake for another 10-15 minutes until the outer get brown, looks more tasty that way.

If you like pork eat pork, doesn't need all that stuff added to it, LOL, if you like mustard etc., eat a jar of mustard. Skip roasting the pork.

I do my pork roast in the crock pot. 1 can cream of mushroom soup, envelope of Lipton onion soup mix and 1/2 can water. Makes a nice yummy gravy for the roast and the potatoes.

If that does cover the roast, just add an extra cream of mushroom soup & water.

I use this recipe for pot roast too. It is soooo good. I eat until I am ready to burst.
