** More questions:

Exactly how did you present your photos? Were they single or many glued/taped on a paper so as not to get lost?

Did you have emails? How many? * We talk for hours daily, so we don't email much.

What type of wedding plans did you show.. pic of a dress you liked, veils, etc. How does this prove anything? Is it a waste of time, because all we have to do is print off something we like?

I had my fiance loaded with things to take. I was actually in Lebanon for the interveiw. Naturally I couldnt attend, but I thought it was important to be there. Not saying you have to go and i dont think it will have a real effect on the CO, but he was shocked when my fiance told him that I had come to Lebanon for the interview.

As far as items that he had with him:

Several pics from trips after we filed with dates (if your cam doesnt put dates on the pics then write it on the back)

ATM receipts from Lebanon

New copy of my passport showing additional stamps to Lebanon

Wedding plans / dress pics / menus / venu brochures etc. (I really dont think it would have proved anything)

Phone call log

Emails - maybe 1 from each week. - we didnt chat on the computer allot or email very often. We talked on the phone more than anything

Chat logs

The CO didnt look at a thing he brought. Just make sure he takes a little bit of everything. They may do the same and not look / take a thing he brings, but its better to be safe and have it then not bringing it at all.

Good luck.

They are always grateful to see a packet that has been well organized. And this is important, make sure that whatever you organize with is bendable. The consulate in Morocco had windows that you needed to slide your evidence under. I would be they are all set up this way.

I had my evidence in sections. And each had a tab labeling what it contained. The first page was the letter explaining how we met, how we fell in love, and it addressed our red flags. After that was his letter explaining his love for me, followed by letters of support. We talked daily by yahoo, and at the start I would print out 2 conversations a month. But I saw where you could print more of summary of the days we talked, so in the end I was printing just that page, so they could see we talked on a daily basis. I included a few cards we had sent each other through the mail, and the e-cards. These all had their own tabs. I also included my husband conversations with my family as well as my conversations with his family. I didn't have any proof of phone calls, and this was explained in my cover letter. We talked on yahoo for hours each day and the bill would have been horrible. instead we used webcams and headsets, which to me gave me the best of both worlds. See each other daily, talk daily, free of charge.

The photos were in a separate folder since our folder was huge. Again bendable, so what I did is purchase those plastic inserts (the name loses me at this moment) that have the 3 holes in it, with pocket for the pictures. I also put these in sections. First visit, second visit, so forth. I had a section for our wedding pictures as well. Of course you won't have that, but if you had an egagement party you would want that. I used ties at the 3 holes.

As far as a folder on wedding plans, I don't think they want anything that would be considered a "wish list" for your wedding. But if you have purchased a wedding dress you might want to include the receipt. Perhaps a receipt for a down payment for the location for your marriage. Substantial proof rather than what you are hoping for.

As for how our folder was presented, it must have been okay. The CO complimented him on how well it was organized and asked who prepared it. Me of course...lol
