sept. 19, 2008--- approved

NVC:

sept. 26, 2008----got case # from a live operator

oct. 6, 2008 ------received AOS bill/paid online

oct. 7, 2008 ------shows PAID

oct. 14,2008 -----IV fee generated/ paid online

oct. 15,2008 -----shows PAID

oct. 16,2008 -----mailed DS230 overnight

oct. 23,2008 ---- RFE

nov. 3,2008 ----- case complete

nov. 26,2008 --- medical exam

aug. 14,2009 --- remedical finally, passed

aug. 24, 2009 -- interview , passed

aug. 29, 2009 -- visa in hand

sept. 24, 2009 -- POE LAX

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

dont worry Narina , im sure you will get that approval within the week. you need to get everything ready for NVC because things will go fast from there. also Lisa, you need to prepare your documents now , NVC works so fast, you'll breeze thru it .

two CRIS emails, I started crying and pointing and telling my brother, this is a f*cking approval!!!!!!

I opened it up, "approval notice sent"

Eat it vermont! oh no, I love you vermont for moving our petition from under the table leg, to someones desk!

Congratulations Lisa ! :dance::dance: While there is only a trickle of approvals from VSC so far it is still quite heartening to log into this site each day and find someone new approved.

07/01/09 - I-485 and I-765 mailed

07/06/09 - USCIS received (date on NOA1)

07/13/09 - NOA1 received for both I-485 and I-765 !

08/08/09 - Biometric appointment

08/25/09 - AOS interview letter notice date

09/24/09 - AOS interview

10/03/09 - Received GC !!
