I have an appoinmet to a civil surgeon on jan 9 and she said she can fill out just the vaccination history for $100.I;ve just heard about tb test. What is that is it smth new?Is a new uscis requiremnet?

Should I ask the doctor to make it?

you can inquire but the civil surgeon is the one that should review the history and determine what if anything needs to be done additionally. they are the final say...

YMMV

$100 just to copy some info from one form to another. OUCH...

But if they're charging it, somebody must've already paid it.

And yes, the TB test is mandatory for everybody who had their medical exam after June 1, 2008.

I'm still confused...

So I understand from the instructions that I have to submit to USCIS only part 1-personal information, part 2-vaccinations and part 5.

Now.,,you tell me that I need TB skin..I see that appears in part2-medical examination(form I-693)so afterall I have to sub,it part 2 also??

I had X-Ray made in my homecountry in september.I don't remember if they first made me a TB test.I really don't think they did...anyway I still have the X-ray(not the results, but the picture....that what they gave me back after I had the k1-interwied>i suppose the results were introduced in the yellow envelope/

pls help!!

Go to your local health department and get the TB test . Then take the record of it to the CS.

And you think the civil surgeon will accept that? They are already closed.I can't give them a call....This is how you guys did?

so the cv is supposed to fill out part 2 A(TB)-form I-693??with no charge?

Everything is messed up with all these rules!!!

As long as I had a chest x-ray in my country and the results were in the yellow envelope.so USCIS should see it at some point .and the doctor told me I am oke!!!why do I need now a tb test?...

I have headaches!

If I were you just submit copy of your DS 3025, I never transcribed my record to civil surgeon here let USCIS figured out if you need additional vaccine or TB skin test. I succesfully did it but that time I'm ready if I get RFE will nothing I can do but to comply, anyway it's not that long to wait if I get RFE as long as you comply it as soon as possible. I did this because I was once like you confused about my medical even if I had it already in my country.

I went threw the same thing, I called the USCIS information, they told me that if the physical was conducted after July 1, then the TB test would have been performed. And hence we did not need another. The only thing we needed was to get a chicken pox vaccination and update the civil surgeon updated the report.

Looking at timelines:

Sunlyk had a medical before the new rules.

Claudeth went through this in 2005.

If they had read Eric-Pris post that the rules are different after June 1, 2008, there wouldn't be so much confusion here with differing information.

citlembik---These are the new posted requirements about the TB test for AOS. Read the questions and answers and look at the little chart toward the bottom of the page.

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/men...0004718190aRCRD

Sample question:

Q: Will USCIS accept Form I-693 if the civil surgeon performed a chest x-ray without the TST?

No, the civil surgeon must administer the TST, unless one of the exceptions listed in the Technical Instructions applies. If the civil surgeon performs a chest x-ray without giving the applicant the TST, the reason for omitting the TST must be noted on Form I-693.
