Hello,

I filed for N400 on Sept 28 and I took the BIO on NOV 17;

It seems that the average time after BIO for the appointment letter is 4

months;

I wonder if the interview appointment is based on

1- FIling date (in that case I will be

scheduled for appointment aprox on FEB 09) or

2- BIO date: in that case i guess I will have to wait maybe MARCH 09

can anyone advice please?

Thank you

filing date as biometrics is nothing more than a necessary step in the process

YMMV

They usually put you in queue for interview schedule only after the name/finger print checks are completed. So, I guess in a way the interview schedule is dependent on biometrics as the check can only be done after finger prints are taken.
