my wife had an interview on dec 17 2008, she did not get approved or denied her visa, they told she needs to bring in more proof of who she is from before 2002, like eleamentry records, an dipolma, high school records, an dipolma, but my question is her elamentry school an high school are on the same grounds but her elementry has a different name, but on her ds230 she put them both as one an her eleamentry dipolma they abrevated her last name. will that hert her when she takes her paper work in to embassy,

I would email the embassy and ask them.

"you fondle my trigger then you blame my gun"

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

in her elementary diploma they abbreviate her last name instead of san diego they put sn. diego what do u think guys is it ok or not?

Can't she go to her school and ask the school to rectify the elementary diploma? Or perhaps ask her school to make an affidavit stating that there is just an error on her printed diploma and have it authenticated by DECS? She may ask for her form 138 if needed. In some cases like in getting a passport, some people are just getting a legal paper notarized by a certified lawyer if there is any name discrepancy (birth certificate and baptismal certificate for example). I do not know if US embassy would accept that too. I guess it is better to call USEM.

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......
