My wife just recieved her two-year green card and we are planning on bringing her two kids over to the U.S. I myself am a US citizen and will be petitioning for them. Just a couple questions that i still have though. Can I bring them over to the US early before everything gets approved or do I need to wait? Is it just the I-130 that i need to fill out or is there more? Not sure if this is enough information, if not just ask and i will provide it. Thank you

Are you going to petion them as their stepfather? What are their ages? did you marry your wife before the children turned 18?

Check the I-130 Guides. You'll have to do the trip at NVC submitting documents for them. Also pay another $400 each plus $70. Then on to medicals and embassy interviews.

Only way to bring them early is with tourist visas.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

Good Luck on getting the children here. The process should take around 6-9 months baring any RFE's. Are the children under 18? You also need to have a letter from the other parent ( unless deceased ) once the application gets to the NVC stage it needs to be notorized stating they give permission for the children to Immigrate to the US.. Just send the I-130 with a copy of your marriage certificate and the Childs birth Certificate and get the ball rolling. One I-130 for each child plus the fee. What country are you from? You will also need to see what the requiremnts are for the children to leave the country. In Colombia we needed a letter that was only able to be authorized in Bogota.

PS :time: It helps us all

Why is it that the only one who can stop the crying is the one who started it in the first place?
