We are still in a holding pattern for now I guess. I have sent another email to the embassy and haven't heard back from them yet. I called the DOS and they can't tell me anything new. My husband has agreed to go to the embassy during the inquiring time to try to get some information as well as dropping off the documentation for his medicals. Its all very frustrating..........I am really missing him alot right now and just want this over with. UGHHHHHH!!

Good afternoon everyone.

Yes Mrs. J I did call the DOS and all they can tell me is its in AP for now, however they can't say if its in Ap only because his medicals weren't complete or for something else. I am glad as well that he will do the info appointment.......

i just had to post here because i'm sooo excited and didn't want to start a new thread for something silly like this. it's been five months since i've seen my fiance and, as i'm sure you can all relate to, skype and webcams just haven't been an option. he's been in the village for the past two months visiting family, etc, but he's going back to dakar in a month or so, and one of his friends set up a skype account with a webcam! in a month i'll be able to "see" my fiance again! whoo-hoo!

Wish we could do that for the family back home. Hopefully soon, I just feel as if we do not talk as often as we should and I have not seen them since my visit years ago.
