I've finaly made it to the Subbies pages, and caught up on loads of reading.

All the positive energy and thoughts here is awesome, just the way I like it.

I'm still in the early days of my journey, but Im staying positive and patient, dont see any reason to to stress myself out completely when I know things are beyond my control and I cannot speed up the process. But believe me, if I could I would ;)

68 degrees! I'm jealous...I don't what it was here but it was cold.

Al Roker has a special about absent fathers tomorrow night, the title is something like "A Father's Promise" Anyone planning to watch? My hubby get so ticked off when he sees that add. He's keep saying whats wrong with African American fathers?!"

Sort of related. We watched Black in America a few weeks ago (I know we're late! We don't have cable, we got it on iTunes). Anyway, my hubby was really moved by it and we're ordering the DVD to send back to the family. He was saying that people in Ethiopia really don't understand what its like to be Black in the US. They have a idealized version of it being filled with opportunities and looking down on many Black men as being treatening or too lazy. Did anyone else's SO have a strong reaction to Black in America?
