Hello Sub friends.

Whydbe, keep your head up. Just think you could have never had a more thorough investigation on your husband than this one.

I'm trying Mrs. J. We have been flying through this process and to hit a brick wall right now is kinda hard.

I tried to find stats on AP time but didn't find anything. I saw on the AP thread you said 5 to 8 months - REALLY???? That seems so far away.

There isn't any concrete informaion on AP. Maybe it was just one document that they need to verfiy so it will only take a couple of weeks. They use AP as a term for everythign that take more investigation, backround checks, or to look at the pictures closer. So it is so hard to tell. I have not seen anyone from senegal that has been put on AP yet, so I can't even compare you to someoen else. So that 4-8 is just an average of what has been goign on.

After a week or so call the DOS. Ask them has there been any updates to your case, since my husband's interview. the person that took my call said that you were put in AP for documentation verificaiton. So I knew specificly what was going on. No name checks or anything for us.

My husband had a home visit. After the home visit was when our AP ended.

I know it is like a slap in the face. I had a quick approval too. Although My processing time was longer then needed becasue my lawyer (whom I fired) was dragging his feet.

Is there ANYTHING I can do other than wait?

Just got this email.

"We are doing research on his case. We do not know when we will be finished with our research. We have noted your phone number and email and will certainly contact you if you are needed. "

Where do I find the DOS number? Is that the main number for Consulate on the Dakar website?
