A Cincinnati judge said he has seen long criminal records before, but this one was notable. Hamilton County Municipal Court Judge Ted Berry gave 41-year-old Norman Holmes a 90-day jail sentence and a lecture Monday after Holmes' 109th misdemeanor conviction.

Police who arrested Holmes for stealing toothpaste from a drug store Sunday found he also was wanted for taking vodka, a screwdriver and air freshener from a convenience store.

Holmes pleaded guilty to a theft charge but had no answer when the judge asked why he didn't become productive instead of stealing.

Records show nearly a third of Holmes' convictions were for theft. He also has served five short prison stints on minor felony charges such as breaking and entering and for drugs.

This person is a deviant of normal society. He needs mental hospitalization.

And these are just the crimes he got caught doing! These 109 are actually the tip of the iceberg.

A good cop with a throwdown gun, some initiative, and no witnesses should stop his perpetual crime spree permanently. Problem solved! We could only be that lucky, but we ain't.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

US Congresswoman Barbara Jordan (D-TX)

Testimony to the House Immigration Subcommittee, February 24, 1995

I agree with William, he needs a hospital.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.
