Do they send us another card in 2 yrs? I thought the green cards were good for like 10 yrs.

My Timeline:

2/27/2007 sent I-129f

5/??/2007 USCIS needed additional info

7/23/2007 I-129f approved

8/3/2007 NVC approves application

8/27/2007 NVC sends approval notice to Seoul embassy

9/6/2007 Seoul embassy finally receives application/filed for interview

9/21/2007 worried about interview

10/13/2007 K-1 approved.

10/20/2007 Arrived in Ameriva

10/29/2007 Filed for marriage certificate

11/24/2007 Filed for AOS I-485 and AP

12/18/2007 Received RFE (overpaid, had to resend check)

1/24/2008 USCIS resumed application process/biometrics appt received

2/04/2008 Biometrics appt

4/??/2008 AP approved and received

9/??/2008 AOS interview schedule received

10/22/2008 AOS interview

11/3/2008 RFE received and returned

FAST FORWARD to Dec 2012. US CITIZEN!!

no, you must submit an I-751. Application window for I-751 opens 90 days prior to expiration of the conditional card

You received what is called a conditional green card. The conditional green card is given to couples who have been married for two years or less at the time the card is approved. You will need to apply for removal of conditions 90 days before the green card expires.

Naturalization

3/23/14 - N400 package sent to Phoenix

3/27/14 - N400 package delivered

4/3/14 - NOA1 receipt date

4/4/14 - check cashed

04/29/14 - biometrics date

07/01/14 - interview date

xx/xx/xx - Oath Ceremony

They sent you the 2 years conditional GC because you been married for less than 2 years. Before your 2 years anniversary you will need to file the I-751 to remove the conditions and then you will get a 10 years GC. Congratulations on you 2 years GC.

Second marriage to the Love of my life on August 5th, 2006
Son born on September 30th, 2007
Son born on August 26th, 2009
Deported/Removed from the US on August 19th, 2010
Filed an I-824 (01-06-2011)
I-824 Approved (01-21-2011) and Forwarded to NBC
Email From The NVC (02-07-2011) Case Received and Case Number Assigned
AOS and IV invoices fees on February 11th, 2011
AOS and IV invoices fees pay on February 14th, 2011
AOS and IV Documents requested by the NVC on February 15th, 2011
AOS and IV Documents sent to the NVC on February 28th, 2011
Case closed on March 15th and Sent to US Consulate - VISA INTERVIEW ON MAY 4TH, 2011 AT 7:30AM
VISA DENIED FOR UNLAWFULL PRESENCE ONE YEAR OR MORE (QUALIFY FOR WAIVER)
Waiver of Inadmissibility filed on May 11th, 2011 in Yaounde, Cameroon.
