Similar to what Canuck_Carrie posted earlier, we also got email notification of an RFE today, the letter was mailed on June 3rd. :( This is absolutley terrible because it only further delays Aidan getting his EAD, which we need desperately. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING was included in that packet!! I double checked it like three times and then Aidan checked it as well!!

I-693A in sealed envelope

I-864 Affidavit of Support -&-

Last three years of taxes (even though we only need this most recent years) -&-

Letter of employment

Certified marriage license

I-485 and I-765 (totally 100% fully completed!)

Passport photos of Aidan for both AOS & EAD packets

Photocopies of passport pages for Aidan

What the heck could they possibly want?! This is so awful...Aidan and I are so scared that they're either gonna want a co-sponsor (I make way over the poverty line now, but this is a new job--my last job was just barely over the poverty line, and before that I was unemployed), which we cannot get...or another full medical which we can't afford!! I am so upset!!

I guess I'm just looking for support here...I know there's nothing we can do except wait for the letter in the mail...I just needed somewhere to vent, I suppose... :(

Well there's always the not-so-rare possibility that they lost something.

Hope it all gets worked out soon!

Seems like almost everyone is getting an RFE on their AOS these days....

I've noticed that, too... :(

Try to look on the bright side. At least they've looked at your case.

It's been about two months since our RFE on AOS, and we just got transferred to CSC, which means no interview.

See, it could be a good thing!

What was your RFE for? I'm glad you got it sorted, and yay about the transfer to California! Maybe that'll happen to us, too! :)

I'm trying to cheer up, but it's hard to do. Aidan's going crazy because he can't work, and I'm tired of being broke all the time, lol! :P

I'm still not 100% sure what the RFE was for. But I think it must have been for 2005 taxes, even though I sent everything in early February.... In any case, they seem to have been satisfied with my RFE response of 2005 taxes.

I can definitely sympathize with the work thing. My husband got his interim as soon as the 90 days were up. I think getting the EAD in alot of ways is more exciting than the green card!
