Hmmm....I wonder who will win if there's another civil war? North or South? My daddy always said the War of Northern Aggression wasn't over...

Isn't the world supposed to come to an end in 2012

According to the Mayans, yeah.

I was disappointed on August 29, 1997. The world was supposed to end due to SkyNet becoming aware and nuking us to hell.

Sarah Connor never stopped Judgement Day, she only delayed it. Skynet is inevitable.

the U.S. will break into six pieces — with Alaska reverting to Russian control.

This is find laughable. Alaskans are better armed than the entire Russian military. Even without the US military's assistance, no self-respecting Alaskan would allow a Russian invasion. If it were that easy, wouldn't Canada have taken it then?

crazy mo-fo.

I've watched too much TV or something. I just read that and was like #######? I said that? Then I figured out it was quoted from the original thing I posted.

Perhaps you should read up on the Russian military before you posting. Alaskan's are not prepared for anything at all. The US military has been looking for Osama bin laden for 7 years and still cant get him... that's called some smart folks.

Perhaps I take this subject more seriously and for good reason, we have more people in this country making money with money anytime in our history. Our colleges are producing ten times the attorneys than scientists and engineers.

If we had these same ratios today at the start of WW II, we would be all speaking German or Japanese today. We have become a country of laws, way too many laws, at kid can even experiment with making a kite or hooking up an old gasoline powered washing machine engine to his bicycle. Everything is safety, safety, and more safety, kids can't even use common sense anymore. Live very structured lives with so called quality time, eat way too much junk food, and sit in front of a video game screen.

We live in a throwaway society, average guy can't even repair his car anymore, and cities are way too artificial, if the grocery store shelves are empty, people would starve to death. Not the America where we knew how to do things, makes things, and build better lives for ourselves.

The prof should lay off the vodka. His drunken delusions are entertaining to be sure, but we've heard it all before.

And whom do you think will help John Connor send his dad back in time to protect his mom and to procreate?

That's right. HAL 9000.
