NO touches and NO approvals for the week of Dec 29th

Hi everyone, im a long time lurker and decided to say hello to everyone and hope everyone ses an noa2 soon...

I personally have been waiting since april after harrassssssing uscis I made the mistake per there advice and filed for k3 in aug. I have no idea if me filing the k3 so late will delay my process more or if it won't really won't matter much.... any advice willbe great... thanks

Well I'm flying out Monday, God willing, so I am getting a head start on our tradition.

April filers will be getting approvals this week........Well, can anyone give me some idea about the May filers? I have seen quite a few transfers and approvals in November which were specially of May 08 filers...Is my assumption correct by saying they are almost done with May filers? or yet to receive approvals? I don't see much May filers...

I think there are quite a few May filers still waiting. The transfers were stand alone 130's(CR-1/IR-1).

VSC has been throwing those CSC's way lately.

I just saw that a July filer (standalone I-130) got approved after being transferred to CSC. This is getting to be ridiculous. It seems that the I-129F which is intended to speed things up (at least get your spouse to the US faster) is what is holding things up. Granted that the fact that they have two applications to process (for the price of one - since they waive the I-129F application fee) unlike in K1 or standalone I-130 adds more burden but why even come up with a process that is a lose-lose situation for both the applicant as well as the service center ?

Even if VSC doesn't quite catch up with CSC in the new year, I really hope they do an internal review and try to bring about more parity in the processing times for K1 vs. standalone I-130 vs. K3. It is just not fair for the K3 applicants to be singled out for the longest wait times.

From what I was told... When you file a K-3 and you already have a CR-1 in progress they combine the files into one and they usually get approved together. ( that is what I was told ) It is very frustrating to see the transferred files get approved. All of us who were left behind to rot at VSC seem to have a long wait ahead of us.

I did call and inform my attorney about the files that are getting transferred to CSC are getting approved with dates after mine. He said he was going to check into it. I also called the congress womans office again. They told me they can request that my file be trnaferred to CSC but they advised me against that.

This whole thing is ridiculous.

HAHAHA! I just spoke with my husband on msn and he told me he called USCIS to give them his new phone number and he also asked about our case... The person told him that the last dates they are working on are February 27 and that will take 30 days for them to process our case! HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Do they really want us to believe that? We don't even know why we bothered asking anything.

OK, well, the reason it wasnt in, is because when I run the scan for K-3's, it only shows k-3's. yours shows up cri-1 as that is what you have listed on your profile.

All I can say.... Shoot them all...get new bunch of active ppl...perhaps, let us immigrate and hire us to make this process faster than ever..............cuz we know the pain.....we know the pain of being apart from the beloved ones...
