Hello everyone, I have filed my K1 and I recieved a request for a limitation waiver on a form I-797. I am not sure how this goes. I thought I was passed my two year limit. But the paper says that it goes from the time the last I129F was approved, which was Sep 2006 and I filed Aug 2008. I am wondering how to get this waiver and if they deney it what are my options? Thanks for the responses in advance.

This sounds like you are dealing with multiple petitions per IMBRA.

2. Filing Limitations on K Nonimmigrant Petitioners.

If you have filed two or more K-1 visa petitions at any time in the past or previously had a K-1 visa petition approved within two years prior to the filing of this petition, you must apply for a waiver. To request a waiver you must submit a written request with this petition accompanied by documentation of your claim to the waiver.

Moving to IMBRA forum.
