Hello guys!

What is the best way to advance my things to Chicago? Airfreight? Sea freight? Is there a door-to-door service from Manila? I have heard of Manila Forwarders...do they do pick-up or do I have to bring it to them?

With the reduced baggage weight limit, I may have to send some of our things in advance. My daughter and i will have 1 luggage and one balikbayan box each.

Thanks for any ideas you might offer. :)

It depends what you want to send. Use a reputable firm like LBC or Forex. Air Freight is fastest, the most reliable, and most expensive. If it all fits in balikbayan boxes, then PAL has good rates if you want to take it all with you it as baggage. Sea freight is the cheapest, especially for heavy and oversized items, but takes the longest, and can be a hassle claiming your stuff at the other end.

That is the best I can offer.

Hokey Smoke!

Bullwinkle: "No, they are just confused."
