Mine drinks tons of Coke and Pepsi. It's obscene how much cola he drinks.

Me too! But I don't think I could have prepared. You think life is on hold when you're waiting for them? Life is really on hold when you're waiting for them to get their shitt together here. 2.5 yrs later and it's still on hold....

I wish I had known how hard this all was going to be sometimes...I think I would have tried to prepare myself more. (Don't know how I would have done that, but it seems like a good idea now.)

Woohoo!

If I had known then what I know now....

I would have bought a 2nd set of cheap non-stick pots and pans and allowed my MIL to scratch them all up w/ her use of metal on non-stick issue!:rofl:

Yep, thats about it.....this is what I learned. Sometimes things need explaining and "re" explaining...i.e., Alarm systems on your home don't work if you leave the door open, using plastic utensils on non-stick, empty the electric sweeper after each use (it doesn't clean itself)...:whistle::blush:

OMG!!!!! Annie, that was my situation with my MIL. I'll never forget - my mom had bought hubby and me a super set of Calphalon. One night I come home from work and notice that she (my MIL) was mashing potatoes with my metal masher in my pot.:wacko::blink::wacko: I about had a stroke. I couldn't believe it. I had to explain that we use only plastic on those dishes. She looked at me like I was speaking Greek. sheesh!
