seriously pack some lunch everyone gets a 9 am interview time, thats just the time to be there.. and get into the ARGOS type waiting hall..

An excellent idea -- and bring a bottle of water because you're going to get thirsty. There are washrooms there as well if you have a bit toooo much water (like me :P).

My friend got me some lovely thick Fiorentina hot chocolate for my birthday to help me cope with the AP...nummm, gonna have it now.

Magpie.

Water need but no food for me lol (my mind on sumthing else so i dont think about my belly :|) i hate the place :P went there for my J1 visa 2 year ago... sat on the floor for 4/5 hour not fun time lol!

Do they let you bring liquids in now? I know they used to make you chuck bottles before they let you go in.

Yuppums. I took my Starbucks flask in 'cause I tend to keep cold drinks in there too. All they do is ask you to test the drink while you're going through security to ensure it's not some evil chemicals. I got confused initially, because the guard kept saying that it had to be tested and didn't explain how until I stared blankly . THEN she explained that I had to sip it...pfff, it's misleading for poor, gullible people like myself who assume that testing means they've got some kinda minature test lab hiding under the desk.

Magpie.

I totally missed out on that! My tummy was rumbling for a good two out of the three to four hours I was waiting...

Good luck to niniel71 for tomorrow's interview!

I just got the call from London!! We are approved! I wish I could have been there with him but for money reasons it just wasnt possible. I know he was soo nervous. I have been awake for hours waiting for news and was literally shaking when I answered the phone. hehe

Thanks to all who wished us luck!

Congrats Niniel! That's wonderful news.

And MissG, I'm still sitting in AP limbo land, same as Dairyfarmer...gotta keep going, I guess. Thanks for asking :).
