clarification please:

the original of the NOA2 is not necessary to have for the london embassy interview, correct? in fact, you are unlikely to need it. i emailed a copy of it to jamie, but did not include the original. the story may be different if you are working with an expired NOA2.

and moira, relax! : ) the more energy you spend on worrying, the less you will have to devote to making sure you are doing everything correctly. your time frames are normal. sit tight.

You don't need the NOA2 for the interview.

Regular snail mail via USPS/Royal Mail should have no problems getting to you in time for an April 24th interview...It's also the cheapest! (Though I don't know why I keep bothering with what's cheap or not, considering the rest of the budget for this wedding my mother -and I, I suppose- is putting together!!)

Sent my Affidavit off to Nik today USPS - $3.60 for one envelope and $1.74 for the second (wouldn't all fit into one). I find that it typically takes 5 days, so I expect it to be there next Tuesday. Just in time for his police cert...and hopefully packet 3!

Good morning all .....

The docs arrived this morning. God know's what the poor postie thought - I just about knocked him over in my haste to grab the envelope ...

Steve's wedding ring also arrived ... so that's another thing ticked off my list ...

All I need now is for someone in the DOS to tell me this morning that an interview date is on my file ...

I do appreciate everyone's input over the last day or so .... and I KNOW I have no patience ... and I KNOW I shouldn't worry ... and I KNOW there's no point panicking over things that I have no control over .... but that's just the way I am right now! I have no idea where the cool, calm and unruffleable Moira that I used to be ... has gone ...

Have a great day everyone ....

Moira x

PS/Edit oh darnit ... I forgot about my police certificate!
