Do do do dooooooooooo, dancey dancey

banana.gif

aww. thats a nice song!

congratulations, pauamanda!

If that was for me, rather than pauamanda, this is where it's from....

Beware, not for the faint hearted - about 2 mins 50 in

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0K0x2P-V8I

um? pothergavel. THAT IS THE GREATEST THING EVER!

let me tell you why:

1. i support tottenham (or i did until my boys all went to man u, who i also kinda like because being american i dont have to just pick one. and i spend a lot of time in manchester.) i love the fighting chickens as i call them.

2. robbie keane. awww. the big baby.

3. BERBATOV. i cant resist a man in an alice band (no, seriously i cant. here is photographic evidence-->)

23063645_cc8ff3db4c.jpg

jamie channeling bjorn borg.

4. i think that jose mourhinio is one-well dressed man.

5. those two guys were very funny. and the do ddoooo doo dancey dancey? should be the official song of apprrovals.

thanks for the link. : D

ps. im making this small font because its so horribly off-topic. <shame>

1. Tottenham are the greatest team the world has ever seen. Whilst not factually correct, it's not far off. My Grandad decided in 1921 and that was that.

2. I agree.

3. Who? He's dead to me. Have a bit of Vedran Corluka instead

Vedran_Corluka_621303.jpg

4. Yeah, he is.

5. It's the fans commentary on sky. You can find lots of them on youtube. I am on there (pothergavel) and have some good Tottenham videos on there if you fancy :)

:D I forgot to say congrats to those who got approvals, their NOA2 and their interview dates...

And thrrp. The police officer who's been helping me out said that he's not authorised to put my parents' names on a letter. This kinda sucks but it looks like there's nothing more I can do for my birth certificate.

@_@ I can't sleep at all this week, and I still have a few days to go. I keep waking up to the slightest sounds...

Magpie.

aww that sucks! i was on edge for days before my interview too. i stayed awake all night in the hotel before the interview suffering with the flu. there were so many noises i just couldn't sleep so i totally sympathise with you! i know this is easier said than done but you need to try and relax somehow, you don't need to get there exhausted from not sleeping. i wish i could offer you some tips to relax but i'm not the right person to ask about that, i'm a total worrier. ;)

pother, will you post a link to a video of your commentary in the football thread? <makes an effort to remove really fun but off-topic chitchat>

m Knight shyamalan and Magpie, <sigh> ugh. thats a shame about the letter, BUT i think that you will get it sorted and get on that airplane (or 4) to alaska. you have a good month after your interview to sort anything that comes up. you are totally on the ball and will be able to articulate very clearly your situation to the CO.

its coming soon, so you will know what you are dealing with in a few days. until then, relax and do what any of us would do in your situation... take up cheerleading! <3 love it. : D

hang in there.

and for what it's worth, i think the reason we got an april interview is because we included a travel date and wedding date (though we have nothing set in stone, but id like to marry before my birthday in may. and i wanted jamie here for a wedding at the end of may) and we enclosed a letter of explanation about the requested date. i would not have known to do that had i not gleaned if from these forums, so thanks. it would be a really nice birthday present. : D

ps jamie goes for his medical in the morning. hope it all goes smoothly.

Oh, I'm a total worrier too. I did try and relax a little and take my mind off things today, but my shoulders are achey because I'm so tense. Usually I'm springy like a lemur, but I've been more of a...a...badger recently. A badger? Oh gawd, my mind must REALLY be gone.

m Knight shyamalan and Magpie, <sigh> ugh. thats a shame about the letter, BUT i think that you will get it sorted and get on that airplane (or 4) to alaska. you have a good month after your interview to sort anything that comes up. you are totally on the ball and will be able to articulate very clearly your situation to the CO.

I hope I'm not a nervous wreck when I see the interviewer. I know there's a month after my interview...but the horrible part is that that's when I'm meant to be revising for exams, and knowing me, I'm going to fret if I'm put into AP. :: Chews on her knuckles ::

As for finding things to do...my friends and I are going to see Wicked in London on Saturday, so there's that...the drawback is that I have to get up really early so we can go and nab cheap front-row tickets from the box office. :P Just as well, 'cause I can't really sleep anyway.

Received my passport with visa in it. Checked all the details and I am good to go. Booked my fight :dance::dance::dance:

We had planned our wedding last year, so am glad it has all worked out and I can get there in time.

Not sure if the above link works but this is us........... (I have lost a few pounds since then ha ha) Gonna have a stag weekend in London 24/25th April....

Knightandmagpie.... I think it is natural to be nervous. I was right up until the night before then I had a calm come over me. I was then nervous walking up to the interviewer, but he was so nice and calming that all my nerves went. You will be fine :thumbs:

Good luck to everyone with interviews coming up and congratulations to all those who have been approved.

My fingers are crossed for Pothergavel, I truly hope you get a result soon.

Sorry but I feel a bit bad, I was meant to say that I have my fingers crossed for DairyFarmer as to be told you are approved then to have that taken away from you must be exceptionally hard, upsetting and frustraiting......

I truly hope it works out very soon.....

:S I haven't seen anything about Dip Sticks...

And good luck, 27th-ers! Knock 'em dead! Or possibly just bruise them a little with your awesomeness and honesty.

:D So glad that you're heading out soon, sjohnscotland. Thankums for the words, hopefully I'll keep them in mind and that calm will engulf me before the interview.

with all of the excitement, i think i just took it for granted that the 27th-ers would be approved! judging by the odds, think they will both fly through!
