snail mail.............you can call dos to find out that will be quicker and cheaper than calling the embassy

Wow I just spent the best part of a long damn time reading all those responses! Now we've received the NOA2 we're hoping that things will indeed move a bit quicker and my fiance has begun sorting out all the checklist stuff, trying to be somewhat organized (haven't received packet 3 yet). Congrats to all who have been approved in this post, hopefully we'll have packet 3 soon and the next phase can begin!

Finally got an interview date....but there is a slight issue we have...and I am sure some wonderful person here can help us!

Our interview is scheduled for March 30, 2009 @ 8:30 AM BUT we need to RESCHEDULE!

Anyone know how to reschedule the interview date (we want one for the third week of April because my fiance has a college project he needs to go to Wales to from March 20- April 15). Should my fiance call the embassy or write to the embassy or email them? HELP!!!

Anyone ever rescheduled an interview in London?

I know its crazy, we were so impatient for an interview date, and now that we have one, we need to reschedule it for later!

Also, another important thing, how late can you reschedule an interview date? 2 weeks before the interview? 10 days before?

Ring the helpline and tell them you need the weekly code as you need to reschedule and then send them an e-mail. You should get the new date within a few days.

All of a sudden .. I feel sooooooo much better ....

Thanks for your reply Nich ... Mum has said that she will hold my phone while I'm in the Embassy and will only charge me a fiver for doing it!!!

We're going to spend a couple of days in London .. hopefully the medical on the first morning and the interview on the next. Mum wants to go on the London Eye and ride on the open topped tourist bus .... I suppose it will keep my mind off things!!
