I am obsessing now :(

Have decided to go to London. Will not be able to make my flight tomorrow, (its at 8:30am) but will be able to re-book for the afternoon, if I get through AP today and it is delivered tomorrow.

My head hurts. My shoulders are SOOOO tense. ARRGGHHHHHH

I AM SO PISSED OFF.

Trying to change the delivery address to where I am staying in London. Happens to be the Yotel in terminal 4 which is public access, but the retards at SMS don't know if they can deliver it there and are going to ask the embassy.

And they then told me all deliveries from the Embassy to the passport holder are always next day. WHAT THE HECK. Then he said they only take a day to pick-up & deliver to the embassy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ouch - I am so sorry they are being so awful with you! It must have been so galling to hear them trot out the tripe about one day delivery to the embassy when they took 4 days with yours. I do hope they can get their act together for you.

Farmer--

DOS will know if your visa has been printed/issued and what day if you haven't found that out for sure. There's a record of it. I found that out from them when I never got a text or delivery and was chasing it down.

As far as the SMS, you can keep calling and following up on it. Don't take no for an answer. Just keep telling them you have to catch a flight and it's an emergency to get your passport. Eventually maybe somebody will work with you. Pay for the early delivery. I actually got a person who would call the driver and find out where he was and call me back and report in. Be polite but firm that you need their cooperation since they failed to get your passport to London in a timely manner.

Thanks Nich-Nick I must have been channelling you by ESP.

I nearly missed the train to London, stupid taxi driver. :girlwerewolf2xn: Made it by the skin of my teeth they were kind enough to let me get all my bags on and then started shutting the door BEFORE I got on. I'm embarrassed to say literally howled with despair, however that did get their attention.

After waiting 2 hours for a call back I called them and they had no record of my previous call. Or that's what she said after putting me on hold. Thanks for the DOS suggestion I was with you there I have been calling DOS 2, 3 times a day. So I had already paid for pre 12:00 delivery, I didn't know there was pre 8:00 before I went to the website, so now I have paid for that, here is the kicker no discount for the £5.90 I had already paid. But still a little more peace of mind.

I think I am so over wrought cause the hits just seem to keep coming. John feels sure something has to go right soon.

Now for a little Monty Python ....Always look on the bright side of life di do di do di do di do..........

Girly, did you specify an interview date on a letter...? I did that and I more or less got the date I wanted...I requested a later one in March (I actually got my NOA2 in September, sent docs in December with a request for dates). I just explained that I wanted to finish my degree and they were okay with that.
