EDIT: Nevermind, your profile says they had it on Nov 20th. Does DOS acknowledge that they have it yet?

Allie posted on the 'between NOA2 and approval' thread that the DOS confirmed the embassy opened it on Nov 23rd, so this Monday.

Keeping everything crossed for you both that they get processing quickly from here on in!

Married: 17 July 2010

AOS mailed - Interview : 22 November 2010 - 10 March 2011

Woo hoo!!!!! wtg D&G.. man oh man!! we were on your shirt tails :D.. Talked to John at 5:30 this morning CST.. and his interview took 2.5 hours (9am to11:30 am UK). He said it went smoothly, he only forgot his original Birth Certificate and Police Certificate, but other than that it went great.. he will post in a bit for the UK interview thread. They told him to get a courier to deliver the originals (he's doing that today or tomorrow), then it will just take an extra day or two for the Visa to arrive.

Thanks Ginny for all your support and info and David for such a fabulous post! My best to all pending processes. Hugggs VJ!!!

They're blowing sunshine up your b-hind cause its not as easy as that. It takes a bit for them to get your visa together after you send in stuff. Sorry...just be cautious. Good luck to you if they do but lots of folks have to wait many weeks to month or so for visa after sending stuff in.

Thanks Allie.. concerned for sure that this will delay the visa (obviously). Thanks for the heads up and your candor.. but we are going to put a cover page with the docs and a copy of my plea to the consulate to hurry up the processes due to my sisters illness. Hopefully that will be sufficient to light the preverbial fire under someones (tush) :) Thanks for the support! By the way, John's review is posted on the UK review section..:bonk:

No prob, I say it how it is cause there's alot of back patting in this site and we need sometimes to be told straight up how to do things cause sometimes people can be to sickie sweet or they dont really come right out with information.

Good luck and keep posting... :star:

Just an echo of what I put in the other thread - please have him send a copy and the originals - so that they (hopefully) send the originals outside of the "do not open" envelope and he can have those originals back for if he ever needs them again.
