hi everyone, im new to this forum but have been reading about everyone's journey for the last month or so and have found everyone's experiences really reassuring whislt waiting for my interview date.

i phoned the embassy today to find out that ive had my interview scheduled for 4th dec but i havent received the letter wch they posted over a wk ago. the guy on the other end of the phone pretty much told me to just turn up on the day and read thru the website to figure out what i needed to bring with me - easier said! instead of being happy that im one step close to the finishing line, ive spent the whole day worrying that im going to screw up the one thing ive been waiting for in this whole process because i havent taken the right documents because i never received my letter :(

i'd be really grateful if anyone who just received their letter let me know what it says, im really scared im going to forget to take something to this interview - pls help!

alrighty :) this is the helpful link from the letter... which tells you more details about the interview.

http://london.usembassy.gov/cons_new/visa/forms/IV019.pdf

have you had your medical appointment?! the letter says you need to have either had your medical, or have one booked... although there's been a lot of dispute over the fact the embassy wants people to have their medical BEFORE the interview now.

then the final thing the letter talks about is if you want a carer/translator or a US citizen to accompany you. at which point you just need to let the embassy know, and that person requires ID to get in.

my interview is the day before yours!!! getting nervous as well, but pretty confident i've got everything sorted :)
