Thought about going across the ocean. I think when he gets here in 3 weeks we will talk about what the best options are. I just didnt want to wait to get married since I had waited so long for this day. So there was no way I was going to wait. We will figure it all out! Thanks for all the advice!!!

In regards to not having a job in the US, I was a bit worried about that too - I enjoy going to work and making money etc, but then I realised, in England it's going to be cold(er) and wet(ter) than it is now and I really wouldn't want to be going to work anyway, so why not lap up the sunshine in Florida and wait for the documents to come through! Besides, being with my fiancé is much more important to me than anything here, probably good advice to think hard about your situation!

Hi guys just thought i would update you all as i had my interview yesterday morning and wasapproved pending my medical results, as i only had the medical on tues 11th, interview 14th. Very happy i can relax now and just plan my journey to my hubby!!!!!!! yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

It is very easy to change the listing from K-3 to CR-1 yourself. I am not the only one that can do that

Anyone can make updates or add changes or interview dates by doing the following:[/u]

Just follow the format on the interview list that is already set: By clicking "reply" on the post with the most recently updated interview list, you can delete the words: [qoute] from the beginning of the post and [/qoute] from the end of the post to make it a new post. And then follow the template to either:

Add interview dates: Just type in the interview date in the format shown and high-light the entire entry and click on the blue color in the color options menu tab.

Add the shiny red approval star: On the bottom of the interview list is the "Legend" which tells you that the red star=APPROVED. Just copy the entire link for the red star and paste it next to the name of the interviewee who has recently been approved.

Everything else is pretty much self explanatory in terms of typing in new information/deleting information/changing colors.

I hope this helps anyone who is interested in taking over the "Interview List" or just as a reference to anyone who would like to enter/delete/add changes or dates.

Finally after 4 years I got my visa, IR1 on July 24th and entered the country August 16th in Orlando, Florida with no problems, lovely folk at immigration.

Interview is tomorrow, off to London in about an hour to take my fiancée sight seeing and tourist stuff, pretty nervous now! Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all your help, probably wouldn't have made it this far without this website! I will let you all know how it went when I get back tomorrow night.

Our K-1 interview has been scheduled for Sept 11th. Mark's medical is scheduled for Aug 27th, but he's going to call and try to have it switched to the 10th so that he only has to make one trip down. Either way, we're very, very relieved!

Well here's the news... I WAS APPROVED!

We're on such a nice high at the moment, it's incredible. I sat in the embassy worrying my head for no reason, got a fairly severe questioning from the consular officer who dealt with me, but barely anything about my arrest! She asked me to explain the circumstances surrounding it which I did and she told me it was okay and that I was approved! With a lovely smile I might add!

I will make sure I post a full review of what happened when I get a chance, busy night ahead of me I must say! I'd just like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has listened to me drone on here, and to all of you who helped me so much (I have to admit, it was down to VJ that I was the most well-prepared applicant the CO had seen today, such a nice thing for her to tell me!) So here's to the rest of my life in America
