Where are you flying into and have you found any reasonably priced flights? I actually thought that one way tickets would be cheaper ... duh ... I've been pricing return flights which are half the price!

Flying into Dulles, and actually I have found one-way flights with one stop are cheaper than direct returns (which, yes, are cheaper than direct one-way). The stopover would be in Dublin (the immigration might be there - although possibly not for Aer Lingus flights to Dulles!) so I am trying to decide.....

Congrats on the medical Ellie and David!

Magpie - you'll have to let me know if Thorpe Park is any good - I might be going there myself Monday!

Er who is cheaper? I have tried the one way thing and to detroit its aalllll expensivo. tell me what you used please?

I use www.kayak.co.uk. A one-way flight LHR-DUB-IAD with Aer Lingus is cheaper than a return flight LHR-IAD-LHR with some other airlines.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! Sven just got a text that his visa is being delivered TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I really hope its correct though...

Yay! Seems like they are getting back up to speed maybe! I'm sure it is correct, from the timelines someone approved Monday also got theirs today, plus the date on my visa shows Monday, even though I was approved Friday. Congrats!!

Another interview date to add to the list...June 1!!!! We're so excited!

I'm planning on going out for the interview but would really like to only take 1 day off work (Need the rest for the honeymoon!). What do you think my chances are for catching a 2:30 flight at Heathrow if the interview is in the morning (I don't know the time yet, but lets assume its for 8 am)?

yaay! Thank God the embassy is finally up to speed with processing the visas and returning the passports...I was worrying that even if we sent in the passport we wouldn't get it back in time for our trip to Pakistan we have planned.

Congrats to all those that are expecting their visas by courier today/tomorrow!!!

Visa Journey completed, but we are still here to provide support! :)
