Hey Marm ... have you got one of those little red stars going spare? I called the doctor this afternoon and I passed my medical - they delivered the results to the Embassy yesterday - so I am officially APPROVED!!!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG ...... I did it!!!!!

H&V ... that was a quick print of the visa ... Paul ... I'm sorry you have had to wait so long ... I'd be climbing the walls by now!! All the lovely peeps on here will verify that I'm not known for my patience ...

Hmmm, who's next on our list of May approvee's???? PB&JAM ... wishing you loads of luck for Friday!!!

I just wanted to say ... thank you all for everything ... for all the help and for all the support ... and for keeping me relatively sane ...

YAY for all of the approvals! Laura, I wanted to come in and check on you earlier, but work ended up being really busy! Not sitting at the computer all day (for once!!!).

I'm not feeling nervous about our interview at all yet, but then again, I've got a couple of weeks to fret about it yet.

Whoo, I now officially have the visa in hand! (and the brown envelope of course) Have just double checked names and #s after the stories I've read on here (including stidholder's recent embassy review saying they got someone else's K1?!) Anyway, it all looks fine, looking forward to booking my flights now.

Laura819 - I'll be doing AOS in Sept if everything goes to plan.

Where are you flying into and have you found any reasonably priced flights? I actually thought that one way tickets would be cheaper ... duh ... I've been pricing return flights which are half the price!

Steve and I should be getting married at the beginning of July if all goes well, so AOS soon after that ....

Congrats!!! I was pretty surprised about how easy the medical was too. I had kinda braced myself for the horrible receptionist .. but everyone was very nice!

Flying into Dulles, and actually I have found one-way flights with one stop are cheaper than direct returns (which, yes, are cheaper than direct one-way). The stopover would be in Dublin (the immigration might be there - although possibly not for Aer Lingus flights to Dulles!) so I am trying to decide.....

Magpie - you'll have to let me know if Thorpe Park is any good - I might be going there myself Monday!
