Thanks guys! Have written a (fairly long, now I look at it!) review here http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=61706 but I always found reading others so helpful so I hope mine is too for someone else in the future.

Still on a high, called my fiance right afterwards which was around 5am his time (but he had asked me to!) We are now getting excited making proper plans for me heading over in early July and our wedding at the end of August. But of course I want that visa in my actual hands before I think I will really believe it - what with all the delays people seem to be experiencing right now.

Anyway, thanks again for all the support and I hope everyone has a fantastic weekend. Good luck to everyone with their interviews next week!

Just about to book my train tickets to London for the interview and medical on June 1st...I've basically got two choices I can either arrive in London(Euston) at around 7:30am or 8:15am. Based on previous experiences how soon should I arrive before the 9am appointment and thus which of the two should I take, thanks!

At £12 this has got to be the biggest rip off of all time!!! I was on the phone for no more than a few minutes and received no new information at all! I was told that the DS-230 part 1 form has been entered into their systems(I already knew this!) but nothing else.....Which leaves me thinking up all sorts of scenarios. Clearly they have started to process our case but seem to have abandoned it after only entering part1 information....Why? Is there something wrong? Should we be concerned? Have you nitwits misplaced it? Or are you just incompetent?(hold on those 2 go together!) ......It takes a few weeks Sir, sorry you just have to wait.....Thanks! That's what we enjoy doing.

I mean honestly how long? I suppose it's one of those, How long is a piece of string? I honestly thought all our waiting issues with the USCIS were long behind us. Guess I was wrong.

Hopefully Senator Harkins may be able to kick them up the ####.

CONGRATS H&V!!! Nice to see another approval.

BTW, my visa turned up this morning. Had a text last night but still refused to believe it will be delivered until it was sitting in my hand. The courier couldn't find the address so he made it with 2 minutes to spare to 8am. I've reschedule the flight for this Sunday and I had an almighty fight with Virgin's customer representative but after 45 minutes on the phone, we managed to agree to something. Cheeky so ad so said he'll send my e-ticket in 48 hours. By then I lost the will to live and just pointed out that I'll hopefully, be on the plane already by then. We definitely spoke different languages today as his English was really difficult to understand. Done and dusted and I'm off.

Good luck to everybody and especially to all of you still waiting for your interview dates or to get your actual visas from the Embassy.
