approved pending docs.....gotta love that huh.

What documents are they asking for? But, congrats!

he didnt fill in th e oath at the bottom of the i134 properly, so we have to send it again. and co sponsor. we actually have one but the fed ex didnt arrive on time. Because he's a personal trainer and hes just starting his businesss, we thought it would be best. but we have the co sponsor forms so thats not a problem, and the bit on the i134 is no biggie........... so i'm just trying to relax. i had to come home and sleep because i didnt sleep a wink last night, kept waking up all night so I feel shattered.

enough of my ramblings

Thanks! Oddly enough, I just talked to him and he said it was red head lady from San Francisco and she was really nice! Go figure......

He also said for me to get on here right away and let everyone know that the police dept gave him the wrong info to take. He spent SO much time running from place to place and making calls (the police and Scotland((?)) gave him such a runaround) that he could not believe it when he got there and she told him they had him bring the wrong one. THANK GOD she was in a good mood and the rest of our stuff was so in order that she gave him a waiver on the exact form. He said to be sure you all call the Embassy and confirm exactly what they want as the UK Police have no idea what they are doing in regards to that.

lol hunny dont get upset. where he had to write the i intend to support ......in the oath he didnt tick the box and he put n/a ( k1 fiance visa immigration process) he should have ticked the box and said fiancee k1 visa or somethign to that effect. i will check with the model form. it really was just a silly mistake..... i am positive you wont do that.

Well this is interesting to me because we wrote the same as you! I am asking my fiance to send me another with that part changed - eeek!

Also will be waiting to hear more about Stinkerpotsam's troubles with police certs?! I hope I have the right thing!

Oh and congrats to the 3 (hopefully 4?!) of you all, of course! So happy to hear the good news :)

Basically he just said to be sure to maybe confirm with the Embassy exactly what they expect you to have and from whom, as the police gave him the wrong doc after much run around...

Hmm yeah I have just found the post we read before about that bit on the I134

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.ph...p;#entry2583017

Sounds like maybe it can be hit and miss. Interesting.

Thanks Stinkerpotsam, I will double check with the embassy although I only have the 1 UK one which seemed pretty straightforward - did your fiance need them from other countries too?

Good luck to everybody having their interview today. Hope everything goes smoothly and you all get your visa approved.

Diary of a Visazilla

Thanks for all the best wishes. I just got back from the embassy.. whoever said that this is an anticlimax they were definately wrong. I sat there in the airport lounge inspired by 1975 and watched as everyone but myself ( i was 5001) got called up. I was there from 7.20 or there abouts. Eventually i got called to the final interview at 9.20 am. By which time I had had several small heart attacks everytime a number was called that began with 5000 , 1 crying fit in the toilet and multiple visions of denied, denied, denied. What a drama queen. I told you I'm a visazilla.

Then I saw the carrier of my fate, window 16. Sunny blonde smiling mid forties american lady. "Hey sorry about the wait." "where did you meet, when was the first time you met him, where did he propose ", she glances with a smile at our photos , you can see she likes a bit of romance " whats his mothers name, have you met his parents, does he have children whats the babymothers name, yada yada yada" at this point my mind starts to blank out alittle. however she smiles back at me..... looks at the financial papers. The I134 was filled out properly at the end. Hands of the blue form of shattered dreams. " just send the form to us, ring this courier no and they will come and collect it, when are you gettting married oh it will get to you before then ...." so i asked " are we approved" " oh yes, your approved just send us the documentation and we will get the visa sent out to you".

i did a little dance at the window.

Care to join me??

do a little dance........make a little love.......get down tonight.......get down tonight.............

approved pending docs.....gotta love that huh.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

congrats !!!!! its such a wonderful day.

both i and the co sponsor said something like we will provide support in whatever way needed, and ticked the "i intend". the thing i am worried about is that my mom (co sponsor) wrote something about supporting him until we transition to our own house or something?! anyone think this could be a problem? (she will do things how ever long necessary)
