do i use the same reciept number issued by uscis to call nvc to follow up on my case? or once approved a new case number will be assigned? pls let me know......

nvc will give you a number

tnx! but will the new case number be written at the approval notice?

NO... You will have to call NVC at 603-340-0700... You can go through the AVR(Automated Voice Response) system or talk to an operator. I suggest you talk to an operator. You give them your USCIS case number and if they have received your case they will give you the new NVC case number.

that sucks! i guess my case wouldnt get to NVC before new years :(
