something weird must be going to happen, it was so warm i could open the back door, muggy, windy very very strange for here for now

Sounds like a storms coming.

My apartment has been muggy from the radiator heat. Combination of the condensation on the windows from the cold outside with the newly replaced radiator valves that push out an enourmous amount of steam make my apartment like a hammam. :innocent:

I got called in to work for an hour to cover lunches due to many people calling in sick today. So I'm grumpy

Hey guys! Sorry I've been offline for about a week now. We are getting ready to move the end of next week and we have been doing lots of painting and updating at the new house. Needless to say this week of vacation has flown by and I need another week to get everything completed. We still have 4 more rooms to paint and a few doors and then packing up here.

I hope everybody had a great Christmas.

Thanks Jeanne for remembering me!

Also, I will try and post some more pics soon. We had some taken last week of the kids.

Hi everyone!!!!

Jax, on my way in to work today I was in tears. I saw car pileups/spinouts/cars stuck in ditches...even an SUV with two dead bodies laying next to it. This was by far one of the most dangerous days of driving I have ever encountered. It took me 75 minutes to get to work. I went 15mph the whole time. I was terrified and cried the whole time. Im such a baby!! Thank god I made it there safe and sound. There were many people today who were not so fortunate

Tasha, Good luck with the move. Soyfan and I have moved twice since he came here and I hated every minute of it. I couldnt imagine doing it with kids in tow. Post some pics of the new pad!!

Zaids loving all his new xmas toys. Keeping him soo busy!

kelz I had heard on the news this morning that I55 was closed, I80 was closed near I94 and I80 was also closed near Larkin Ave. The parking lot at work was like an ice rink. I was worried about Hatem and the other drivers out there this morning. Glad you made it safe.

I just finished reading Twilight. oh my. Ever read a book that you HATED for it to end? That is how this is.

Hope ya'll have a good weekend.

My daughter's phone is dead. I charged it and it said charge complete but then when I unplug it it goes off. I press on the button and nothing happens. Sooooo not a good time to need a new phone since we're not up for renewal yet. :crying::crying:

Jackie was there anything wicked objectionable in the Twilight book? I know I asked you that before but I don't think you saw the question.

omg I'd be sooo there! It's weird because Megan can't wait for tomorrow when we pick the book up from the library but she has no desire to go with me to the movie. Actually I just figured that one out.....the "with me" part. God forbid either one of them get seen walking into the movie theater with their MOTHER!:blink::lol:

Tasha I can't imagine moving right now. I keep looking around the house and thinking wth am I gonna do if we're forced to move. I think the actual packing will be more agonizing than the thought of moving to a new place. I HATE moving with a passion. Seriously we've been in this home since March 2002 and I just now am feeling comfortable in it! lol
