Most of my life I had only broadcast TV. My experience with cable/satellite is, out of hundreds of channels, only a handful are worth watching. If I didn't have an extensive collection of DVDs I could throw my TV away and not care.

Just keep your hands off my broadband Internet connection.

I do not have tv!

And it is just fine...and saves a lot of moolah!

Hubby also loves the heroes show so we just wait till it shows up online, no biggie. I love the fact that we are free to do a lot of stuff and not being tied to the couch.

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.

Never had DVR, but think the concept is excellent. I've been without cable now for 6 years, and believe it's one of the better choices I made. Most tv is fairly terrible anyway, although I do watch a lot of dvds (many terrible too), and spend time on the interweb. So far the lady and I don't plan on cable, but we'll see how she feels about it once we're together a while.

Can't live without my cable tv. Regular tv usually sucks.

DVR....I can live without. Cable shows reruns regularly.

Yes I can live without our satellite cable. I mean I love it and like certain shows, but living without it would be doable as long as I have other things to keep me busy. Living without internet is a different thing and now since I am so involved in certain websites and sell stuff, I need to check it daily.

I already live without DVR. We don't have any kind of recording for cable, we'd rather save the money. I have to watch things when they are actually on. :(:P
