Well I received my Green Card today in the mail.

BUT..............

The only thing is, that it says that I have been a Perm Res since May 17th/05 instead of May 17th/06

So the expiry date is for May 17th/07, which is only for one year.

Dam this sucks.

So I guess I have to send the card back to them dont I? :crying:

Cant they just get things right for people so they dont have to go thru more ####### to get it fixed.

Now it will probley take forever for them to fix it and send the correct one back to me.

I am so disappointed right now.

Oh well, back to the drawing board with Immigration. :(

It seems like the faster they get the more mistakes they are making. There are quite a few people in here that are getting the wrong information put on their cards. Pink Roses-Im sorry for your troubles and I hope that you get it all worked out soon. The good news is that you have been approved and that must be a weight off your shoulders :P How is your sons coming along ? Any updates? Good luck

I agree with this, their error may be to your advantage Peggy. I would just act dumb and file in 9 months, if they ever raise it, just say you thought that was correct as they issued it.

I am greatful I was approved.

I dont think anywhere in my thread did I say I was ungrateful

I would never try and remove conditions when I am not suppose too, that would be ILLEGAL.

I have heard no word on my sons card yet. He was approved thou, he just didnt get his stamp because of the name pending check.

I am sure his will probley have the wrong date on it also when it arrives thou

Oh the fun of Immigration :P
