Actually, the necessity of a marriage index or CENMAR (CENOMAR to some...same form) has been included in the list of requirements for the interview atr USEM since the first week of November 2008, since document verification has been suspended. I got one ASAP once I learned of this. Got it thru the e-census website and took 5 working days to have it at my doorstep. Your problem now is the looooong Christmas holidays.

Hi, I'm sorry to hear that, I know the feeling. I've been in that situation before but I tried to be strong and patient. Just pass the document that they ask from you as soon as possible so they can put it in your papers together and get your visa soon.

Goodluck and Happy Holidays!

Hello Yan,

I feel for you. We're on the same boat, we had our interview last DEc. 22nd. I think I have had more worries than you should be coz I have blue slip ( says to check the requirements I was asked to bring with me ) then 2 white slips and one of these has the + contact you, along with submitting the marriage index and giving back the passports to them (mine and our children's)

Two of nice Vj members here said it just meant that they just want the documents we will submit to them and then they can process the visa. I really wish and hope .Is that what the my white slip means?

I heard my CO told me about the visas ( I was " overwhelmed" I didn't hear all of what she said ) after telling me what they 'wanted from me'.

I am trying to enjoy Christmas, but sad that my husband and I cant be together; even this coming New Year's Eve, or day. Oh well cant do anything but to go through more "agony of waiting".( I do hope not as long anymore) At least ,we're close to being with our husband, now I dont see and feel it as much as it'was just a" wishful thinking "

I will get my CENMAR or CENOMAR on the 8th of January. QC branch. I actually tried getting the CENOMAR and annotated marriage cert (annuled marriage) from Pasay SERbilis and QC (main NSO) The releasing schedule of my annotated marriage cert was supposedly on the 5th of January, but I went back last tuesday, and I got that the same day. I guess when they have your requests ready, you can ask them nicely if you can get it right away. The CENOMAR will be released as said on the receipts. But I will try on the 5th in QC ( Kulit ko noh? ) I waited so long na kc, Imagine 1 1/2 yrs, since magkasama kami ng asawa ko. I couldnt wait any longer...

I try not to feel down. Hopefully, I will be with my husband soon.

Hi, just read your post, congrats by the way for your NOA2. You can get your case number by simply calling National Visa Center(NVC) you can inquire the personnel if your approved petition has been received, my guess its already there. Tell your fiance to call NVC and asks for your case number; case number starts with MNLXXXX....then NVC will forward it to US Consulate here in the Philippines....Good luck to your visa journey. Merry Christmas!
