Recommended Posts

If your passport is not yet expired you have to send it to the Consulate the covers your state and have your passport amended to your married name. You might as well report your marriage to the said Consulate.

btw is it ok to amend even if aos is still pending? and can i use my ead card for the amendment?

You "may" be able to amend the old passports that aren't machine readable by mail.

Can't see why you'd need a EAD and shouldn't matter if the AOS is pending.

I don't know from which state you are currently living but in my case I am covered by the Consulate General in Chicago.You have to download the form to amend your passport and you can send it thru mail.You don't need your EAD as it is not among the requirements to amend your passport. http://www.chicagopcg.com/forms/amend.pdf
