Hi,

This is my 1st post and I am so happy I found this website!!!! I wish I had found it earlier, would of saved myself a lot of stress!!!!

I just mailed my I-129F package on 7/5 and Vermont recieved it, today (7/7) :-)

I'm leaving to Greece on July 4th to visit my love, which I have missed like crazy!!!!!

Here are my questions:

1. Do you think, I will get my NOA2 by then?

2. What happens if I'm not around when it arrives?

3. We're planning to go to a few islands, is there any way we can get notified when she gets her notification for an interview if we are not home?

Thank You so mich, in advance!!!!

#1. NOA2 dates are up in the air right now, USCIS has pulled any indication of processing times from their website when case status is viewed.

#2. Nothing bad will happen if you are not around when it arrives. The case will be forwarded to the NVC and then to the Consulate abroad. You should retain the NOA2 notice letter for your records.

#3. When you plan on going to Islands, it depends on how far along in the process you are. If you get cell phone service there there's a good chance you can set up an interview date by phone or however they do it for the US Consulate in Greece.

Good lukc

Hi!

Happy to see another Greek member! What I did was as soon as I got my NOA1 in the mail, which you should be getting in a week or two, you can go to www.uscis.gov and sign up to receive emails from the site. You can track your status on this site and they will send you emails to your personal email notifying you of the process. So if you are in Greece, just go to an internet cafe and log on to your email or you can go to their site and log on to see the status.

Go to the K-1 section of this website and on the top it has the guidelines and time frames for the process.

Once you receive and email that your application is approved. Then is when you need to start tracking the flow carefully.

Good Luck!!!!

Yiasoo!

You must mean that you filed in June, not July, correct? It's seems unlikely that your petition would be approved by July. I think the average is about three months. Mine was 94 days. And now there is a new law that may be slowing up these petitions.

Good luck
