07/06/10-they received my application forms

07/13/10-received notice receipt(gc extended for one year)

07/28/10-received biometric appointment

09/23/10 GC approved!!!

9/26/20 Gota pproval notice

10/01/10 GC receivedd

hello my vj family...generally how many weeks from the date you applied for your SSN to when you received it? PLEASE..share with me your timeline guys...

It took me exactly 6 weeks to get my SSN. It really depends on which state you stay in, some state very quick only 1 week, some states like my state very slow. :P

About a month... but they lost my application the first time :angry:

05/12/04 => Arrived in the US under L1 status / work visa

03/05/05 => Met the love of my life

07/02/07 => Married my wonderful USC husband

03/03/09 => Interview in Chicago, IL =>> APPROVED!

______REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS JOURNEY______________

12/03/10 => Package sent to California service center

03/02/11 => 10 YR GREEN CARD RECEIVED!!

01/20/12 => Filed N-400 for Citizenship

06/21/12 => Citizenship interview: Approved!

It mostly depends on whether you are in the SSA system. If immigration forwarded your info to SSA, then your card should arrive in 7-14 days. If you are not in their system yet, it may take up to 6 weeks.
