Hello... I have a question about the medical examination... Do I have to bring with the me the shots that I have already gotten? I am going to see my family doctor soon, should I ask her for any records?

At the medical examination... will I be getting any more shots?

AOS/EAD/I-131:

NOA'S Received: March 19, 2010

RFE: March 25, 2010

Case transferred to CSC: April 19, 2010

We are applying for the K-1 visa...

We havent even sent in the first step yet... should I still start a timeline? We will start the whole process in the next month, just trying to gather some information before hand.

K-Visa holders can defer vaccinations until after entry to the USA and adjustment of status. Gather up any vaccinations records and keep them handy until needed when adjustment of status.

For AOS you get the vaccinations records transferred to the vaccination section of form I-693 by a US Civil Surgeon in the USA.

Okay... but when I go see my doctor the next time... just ask her for a record of my vaccinations? and then give this to the doctor when I go for my medical?

thanks

While generally true, it seems Canada as well as the UK consulate think that vaccinations need to be complete before issuance of a "K" visa

YMMV

you have to make sure your doctor has an itemized list .. what you have gotten and when .. my doctor just had "all immunizations are upto date" which was not good enough i had to get a blood titers test done .. you can also goto www.panelphysicians.com and look up what you will need canadian health insurance covers most of them so best do it here from your doctor also from that site you can look up the number of the doctor closest to you and just call and ask them what you need they will tell you
