Hi

I have been away from VJ for some time, preparing to leave for the USA  My visa was issued in London on March 16, 2006 and my medical was done sometime around 22nd of Feb, 2006.

I have heard some people talking about entering the USA before the medical expires. Can anyone tell me when does a UK (London) Medical expire? I know that my visa shows that I have 6 months from the date of issue to enter the USA, hopefully i will be entering on June 30, 2006.

Thanks in advance for all the help.

Regards,

Jahan&Chris.

Medical is good for one year from date of issuance.

Not sure about this part so dont take as gospel but as long as your visa is still valid, you dont have to worry about the medical. I think all it applies to is for your original approval. (check with embassy to be sure)

It will matter when you begin your AOS journey, but as long as you're visa has been approved, you don't need to worry about that until you get to the United States.

We had our AOS interview one week shy of the one year anniversary of my husband's medical and we didn't have any problems with it.
