I am so lonely. I miss my husband, i just want the holidays to be done. I just want to have an interview date soon. I am hearing 6 months wait from some for interview in Guyana, that scares me. I keep going back and forth. Maybe i will go home for Valentine's Day but then i say i want to go home for his interview. He says come home for the important thing, the interview, i want to go home for special holiday. He misses me, i can hear it in his voice and i miss him every day, all day, all the time. So unfair.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Me too, so lonley and sad this Christmas, wished I stayed in Paris with my husband. Next year will be different for all of us.

I just had eye surgery and wished he was there in the waiting room, wish he was the first person I saw with 'new eyes' - he was so supportive and I know he was praying for me, called while I was in the operating room and talked with my brother but still not the same as him being there... :crying:

Between dealing with my eye surgery and Govi not being here I'm sorta 'opting out' of Christmas this year, fortunately all my family understands....
