Do I still have a chance with USCIS before X'mas

Almost every January filers from VSC are getting their 10 yrs GC. I have no luck on that yet. I am just wondering if the USCIS are still working right now, or they are on the holiday vacation already. Come on, i am so tired of waiting. It's almost 1 year, how patient are they expecting us?

I-130 For My Parents

08/10/09 - I-130 Sent to Chicago

08/19/09 - checks cashed ( $355 each )

08/21/09 - I-130 NOA1 Received

09/28/09 - Touched

10/06/09 - Received RFE

10/07/09 - Send RFE request doc.

10/14/09 - Touched (RFE request doc. received by USCIS on oct.13th)

10/27/09 - Approved (approval emails received)

11/05/09 - Rec. both NOA2 in mail. called NVC get case # for mom's case and emails regd.

11/06/09 - called NVC get case # for dad's case and emails regd.

11/09/09 - Received my mom's DS3032 & ASO bill via email

11/10/09 - Paid ASO bill $70

11/12/09 - Received my dad's DS3032 & returned Completed DS3032 forms (By email)

11/12/09 - Send Completed paper DS3032 forms (From China)

11/16/09 - Received IV Bills (By email)

11/18/09 - Paid IV Bills ($400 each)

11/24/09 - I864 mailed via Priority mail

11/30/09 - I864 delivered to NVC

01/14/10 - DS230 mailed via Priority mail

01/19/10 - DS230 delivered to NVC

02/02/10 - Login failed

02/09/10 - forwarded to GUZ

04/26/10 - received interview letter scheduled for 06/17/10 in Guangzhou

They are still working. USCIS and support offices are closed for December 25 and 26th only and open other days. While it doesn't say so yet I suspect they will also be closed January 1. I do know that they work December 31st as that is when we received our I-129f approval 5 years ago.

In that case, seems like tomorrow is my last chance, so i guess i can't count on that now. let's just hope i can hear something from them before new year day.

Yeah, you should go to them maybe next week around the 29th to go get an infopass. If you filed in January then you should get something from them telling you what's the status of your case. Goodluck and may this season be a season of hope for all of us.

Jul. 28, 2005 - AOS and EAD submitted

Aug. 3, 2005 - INS receipt

Aug. 7, 2005 - Received NOA 1

Nov. 16,2005 - AOS Biometrics

Jan. 23, 2006 - AOS Interview (Approved with stamped passport)

Jan. 25, 2006 - E-mail confirmation from USCIS (application approved)

Jan. 27, 2006 - Received the Welcome to America Notice

Feb. 1, 2006 - E-mail Notice from USCIS to send Green Card (Yipeeee)

Feb. 3, 2006 - Received my Green Card (Two Year GC....Woohoo)

Jan. 23,2008 - File for Removal of Conditional Status

Jan. 30,2008 - Received NOA 1

Feb. 23, 2008 - Biometrics

Dec. 6, 2008 - Received RFE paper

Dec. 18, 2008 - Submitted documents thru Postal Mail.

Jan. 6, 2009 - Card Production Ordered (Yipee....light at the end of the tunnel!!!!)

Jan. 12, 2009 - 10 Year Greencard Received (Thank God!)
